Nisi has started making moves in the filters and camera accessories world and is amongst the most trustand brands in that field. Back in 2018, they released the F3 primes that didn’t quite get a lot of attention, learning from this release they went back to the drawing board to come back with a massive surprise in 2023 when they announced their newest serie : the Nisi Athena fullframe primes.

Initially coming up with a 5 lens set (now expanded to 8 lenses), the set we have is the core set, consisting of the 14, 25, 35, 50 and 85mm. They are all T1.9 except for the 14mm that’s T2.4, all share a comon front diameter of 80mm for clip-on mattebox.

So, what’s the deal with these lenses?
They are incredibly clean and well corrected compared to similar sets in the same price range. The Nisi Athena are more luminous (T1.9), have more controlled flares and distortion, display better micro contrast control and ultra low chromatic abberations. These are basically your new set of clean lenses for the most demanding clients.
